Well, we did it, we finally took a family vacation! We started off our trip with a much needed visit with old friends back in good ol' OKC. Much to my dismay, we didn't take ONE picture!!! Really, not even one?! We did have so much fun though! We connected with sweet friends at a picnic, and spent the night with some wonderful family friends (thanks Nelsons!). That next morning we went to our old church, and then had a yummy lunch out with more friends. After lunch, we were on the road again...
...and it didn't take long for boredom to set in!

After spending the night on Aunt Carrie's floor (well we did have some air mattresses), we headed further south to San Antonio and stopped at a really yummy place to pick up some sweet treats!
We stopped at a rest stop to eat some sandwiches we had packed at Aunt Carrie's, and Lyla thoroughly enjoyed getting out of the car seat for a little while!
However, Evelynn was much more preoccupied with her aforementioned sweet treat!
