First Evening of San Antonio - Swimming and the Riverwalk!

When we finally arrived in San Antonio (thank you Jesus for DVD players in the car!), we quickly dumped our bags in the hotel and hit their swimming pool!

We had to give our new camera a try underwater...how funny is this?!

My sweet Lyla couldn't touch in this pool, but she enjoyed motoring around with Mommy.

Buser girls!

The whole family - these pictures seem more rare all of the time.

After our swim, we cleaned up and headed to the Riverwalk. It was a pretty short walk from the hotel, and the weather was perfect. Honestly, I enjoyed myself much more than I thought I would. The path is beautifully landscaped, with lots of little nooks along the way to stop and enjoy. Along one part of the Riverwalk it is very busy with places to eat and bustling with excitement, however my favorite parts were the more serene, albeit manmade, environments away from the hustle and bustle.

Is it just me, or are those the cutest little girls you've ever seen?!

Lyla has a hard time just being serious in pictures...hate to put a label on her, but can you say clown?

The girls had to stop and smell EVERY flower along the way.

By the time we got to the Alamo, Lyla had passed out in the stroller. The L-O-N-G day had finally worn her out! Unfortunately, the tours were over...so we just had to pick up what little information we could from signage along the path.

Evelynn's little legs did great, but on the way back she decided she might need a little ride to the hotel!

Tomorrow I will post about the fun we had at Sea World...stay tuned!
