I'm a little late posting on a few of these things, but they are certainly worth mentioning!

Evelynn is officially a preschooler!! Of course, this was the classic "first day of school" picture that every over-the-top parent takes for the record books. She is going three times a week for a few hours a day, and is just loving it! I mean, where else can you paint, play with playdoh, string beads, sing, read books, and play with lots of fun stuff in only three hours?!

Our church had a fall party to kick off the school year, and the girls had their first sodas! I know, I know, some of you are rolling your eyes... The church had four giant blow up contraptions, yummy BBQ, and everyone had a grand time! Oh, and just for the record, Evelynn complained of a tummy-ache after drinking hers.
While Evelynn is at preschool, Lyla has been learning to adjust to the new schedule. Here she is at storytime at the library, not exactly the same confident girl she is with her sister around. It has been a difficult transition for her, but I am personally loving the one-on-one time with her, even if she is really anxious to go get Evelynn at noon!
We went to Brad's grandparents' farm the other weekend, and the girls enjoyed a hayrack ride! Brad's cousins had all come into town with their kids, and the girls LOVED all of the playmates! Great Papa was so good to set up a little entertainment for all of his great grandchildren!
