On to Corpus Christi...

After a much needed night's rest in San Antonio, we hit the road again!

And a bunch of this...
(That's Brad trying to fix the load of the car carrier, to say the least, we took it back to Sears already....piece of junk!).

We finally made it to Corpus Christi! It was so much fun to see the ocean through the girls' eyes. It was the first time for both of them, and I think they were a little overwhelmed at first!

They are looking at the biclaves that are being uncovered by the tide.

Lyla loved the giant sandbox! I think I am still finding small granules of sand in her little crevices!

Eventually the girls did brave a few waves!

We were actually supposed to camp on the beach this first night, but the weather did not cooperate. As you can see in the pictures, there is definitely a storm brewing! We decided to weather it out at a hotel.
