While it was still raining, we headed to the grocery store to pick up the food we would need for camping on the beach for the next two days and grabbed some lunch. As soon as things started to look a little clearer on the radar (thank you iPad), we headed back to the beach!

Yummy steak and potatoes for supper! Just so you know, the sand does get in your food. I learned how to fight this battle on my second day of camping (making foil packets), but my steak was a little gritty...ick!
I was declared the best mommy in the world after taking this picture. It always seems so conditional with her...
And a nice sunset to end our night!
Notice the car tracks in the sand? You can drive on the beach! This was super nice for camping, but created lots of fear for this mom. The good news, most people weren't just driving around on a joy ride and only used the road to get back to the bath house a couple times a day.
