Hey family and friends!
So many of you ask about Evelynn's doctor's appointments, wanting to know the stats, so I decided to brief everyone at once:
Height: 32 inches (55th percentile)
Weight: 22 lb. 4oz. (20th percentile)
I used an online calculator to figure out the percentiles, so it may not be completely accurate, but it is pretty close.
She checked out perfectly, and we are awaiting her hematocrit blood test result to find out if she is anemic. To be honest, I am a little worried...her blood seemed to pour out of her little finger. The doctor assured me that she is probably fine, and its nothing a little supplement won't fix. We should find out the results super quick, so I will keep you posted!

ReplyDeleteActually, it was not a routine blood draw. At one year they usually run a hematocrit and get their little finger pricked, and Evelynn came back a little anemic at that time. She has been taking the Poly-vi-sol plus iron since then, so we are seeing if she still needs that, needs something more, or can stop taking it all together!
