First Time Bowling!
Brad has been working some long, hard hours at work, so he decided to surprise us with a family night! We went to Long John Silvers/A&W for supper, and then bowling!
Here is a picture of Evelynn waiting for her ball to hit some pins.
(You will have to excuse the rather ravishing pose of my pregnant body.)
And then being really excited that she knocked a few over!
Her daddy, who is a much better bowler than myself, tried to show her a few things about form and position.
We had an absolute wonderful time, and if you didn't get enough bowling from these pictures - click on the rather lengthy video below for Evelynn's last frame in action. The excitement had worn off a little, less celebration after every single ball, but you can clearly see she had a GREAT time!

Little Bathroom Fun
Today, I found Evelynn teaching "Puppy" to go potty. It was adorable to listen to her talk to Puppy, of course using words that she hears me say daily. I heard her say, "Go pee pee. No? Go poopy? Okay. Yay! Good job Puppy!" She also sat on the stool that I often use to sit on when we are going to be in there for a little while (aka: #2 is taking place). Of course, I had to take a few pictures to document Puppy's first potty.
Evelynn was super excited that I wanted to take pictures of Puppy on the potty.
If you notice, she took the toilet ring of off the big toilet. I must admit, I was thankful that I didn't have to worry about Puppy falling in. I wonder if that was her reasoning as well?
Of course, after Puppy uses the potty, he deserves a round of applause!
Then, tonight Brad snapped this picture of Evelynn in the tub. I just found it on the memory of the camera, so I don't have any details or fun stories to tell with this one. But isn't she cute? There were some super cute shots of her washing her "body" with her poof, but they show a little too much body if you catch my drift.
Visit from Aunt Carrie
Aunt Carrie stopped for a night on her way down to school, and Evelynn could got get enough of her! I think she made her read her new Ocean Pop Up book from the Busers a million times before she left. This picture was taken the morning Aunt Carrie left.

High Heels Already?
A little story:
So, Evelynn had been excused from the dinner table and headed off to her bedroom to round up some toys for evening playtime before she hits the bath. Brad and I hear a very funny noise coming down the hallway. Nothing familiar, but sounded a little like one of her noisy pull toys. Hmmm. Here comes Evelynn around the corner, sporting her oh-so-fashionable high heels that my mom had picked up at a garage sale. I had just thrown them in her toy box a little while ago, feeling as though she wasn't quite balanced enough to handle the extra work...I guess I was wrong. Oh yeah, and did I mention she was also playing her drum as she walked?

A Weekend Away
This weekend, Brad and I celebrated our sixth wedding anniversary by heading to Texas to buy some furniture! We were so blessed by Brad's parents to come and watch Evelynn for the weekend so we could have a mini-getaway! Here are a few pictures they took while we were away. I know there are more that were taken at the pool...so hopefully we will get some copies of those as well!
PaPa and Evelynn with the chalk.
You can see the love in her eyes!
Evelynn helping Gam-ma shuck some corn that they put away for us! YUM!
Sounds like Evelynn was a pretty good girl. A couple of potty training accidents, a great time taking PaPa down the pool slide a million times, and absolutely NO MENTION of Mommy or Daddy.

My adorable children
Sammy (or as Evelynn fondly refers to him as "Hammy") giving me five after my photo shoot.
Isn't he stinkin' cute?
Evelynn cheesin' for the camera on her trike. She still hasn't mastered the pedals, but she is quite determined and hasn't given up yet!
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Buser for the bike! Once Evelynn starts pedaling, I promise to get video!
Baby Belly Pictures - finally...
I know these were a long time coming, but they are honestly the very first pictures I have remembered to take of my baby belly. Everytime I remember to have Brad snap some pictures, we are running late and end up post-poning the photo session. Oh well, at least I got a few in this morning!
Here I am at 22 weeks!
This is what we caught of Evelynn's hug for Lyla.
(You will have to pardon the fact that Evelynn is not yet ready for church. We often wait until the last minute to put her pretty dresses on, just in case we have an accident before we leave!)
She is quite facinated with the idea that there is a baby inside Mommy's tummy. I can't wait until Evelynn feels a kick. She is going to be ecstatic!
I also had to include this picture of Evelynn. I don't know if she had just kissed Lyla, or was about to...but either way, she is showing the love.
