Walking Practice

Grandma and Grandpa Woods got Evelynn a walk-behind toy. Mommy thought she was a little too young for it, but Daddy had different ideas.
Evelynn took to it right away!
Walking might not be as far away as we thought...

The Good Life

Mmmm... yogurt! Evelynn treasures this time she spends with her Daddy over his lunch break. Always a special treat to eat some of his yogurt.

We love that little bum!
Mommy has started watching Caleb a couple of days a week. He is only 6 weeks old, but Evelynn will love to play with him once he does a little more than sleep, eat, and poop!

Evelynn is 8 months old!

For Evelynn's 8 month birthday, Mommy decided to try out some piggie tails!
Evelynn liked them!
And couldn't stop talking about them!
"I'm ready for my close-up...I can only sit still for so long!"

Vacuums can be fun?!

Mommy was cleaning the couch, and Evelynn decided that she needed to explore this thing called a vacuum.
"Woah!"
Mommy could not stop laughing!
Too bad Evelynn won't be this interested in the vacuum when she starts helping out around the house with chores!

Bumps and Bruises have Begun

With all of Evelynn's exploring, she has now begun to get the inevitable bumps and bruises.
If you look super close, you can see her first black eye (her right, your left).
Yeah, I know it is small, but I still wanted to document it!
As you can see, it didn't really bother her.
As a matter of fact, I don't think she even know when she got it!

Search for the Rings!

I have been catching Evelynn in some very unique positions lately...
Here she is in search for some rings that had fallen under her Exersaucer...
She was quite proud of her accomplishment when she successfully retrieved them!
