The Life of a Baby

The two cuties in my life...gettin' ready for an evening walk.
Evelynn's Great Aunt Julie and Great Uncle Hondo gave this super cute Harley outfit for Christmas...we're just thankful it isn't black with flames! HA!
Evelynn likes to eat the snaps!
Getting some practice sitting up.
Mostly just having a good time though.
Evelynn has learned how to give kisses...but we are a little worried because she likes to use her tongue! Look out boys!
Evelynn is quite mobile now...finding new ways to play with all of her toys.
"Look Daddy, I can fit my whole hand in my mouth!"
"Mommy, I don't feel so good..."
Evelynn has caught, what the Buser family commonly refers to as "the crud." Actually, the whole family has it, but unfortunately, they don't make Sudafed for babies!
Evelynn has also been drooling all of the time now...we are praying that it doesn't have anything to do with teeth! Ouch!

4 Months Old Already

" Aunt Brenda, look how cute I am in my KSU outfit. The shorts and hat are still too big, but I couldn't resist putting on my outfit when the temperatures soared into the 70s!"
Daddy loving on his little baby. They are quite the pair.

Isn't she the cutest ever??
(Notice where she scratched her nose with those sharp fingernails!)
Little bit of playtime on her back...at least for the moment. Evelynn has learned how to turn over...so you just never know how you are going to find her these days. Here is Evelynn's first scoot (at least on camera). She has been learning how to move much like an inchworm lately. Her version of crawling I guess! Evelynn doesn't cry often to get out of her crib, so I just have to listen for her playing. One day I heard her in there making funny grunting noises only to find her on her tummy on the other side of the crib where I had her down on her back! I am now counting my precious few days of a non-mobile baby...am I ready for this??

Alien Baby

Evelynn has been making A LOT of new sounds lately. As a matter of fact, she talks pretty much nonstop now that she has found her voice (don't know who she got that from!)

Also, we went to her doctor's appointment yesterday and she weighed 13 lb. 7 oz. and was 24 1/4 inches in length. Everything is still falling right around the 50th percentile...so she is quite average.
