Mmmmm Strawberries!

Snack today consisted of astronaut food! Yep, you guessed it...freeze dried strawberry and banana!

I think this snack is supposed to be cleaner than this...

Back from Vacation

Evelynn and I flew to visit the grandparents for about a week, and unfortunately...I hardly took any pictures! It was so hard for me to remember to take pictures of all of the fun interactions because I was laughing too hard, or didn't want to miss a minute of it myself! Anyway, here is a little fun Evelynn had right after her bath one evening.
Grandma and Grandpa Woods have a fun riding toy (aka The Harley) that Evelynn absolutely loved!
I love the look of determination on her face in this picture. I think she could use an extra inch or so before she can master The Harley.
They also had a fun table where you could stack blocks. Evelynn preferred sitting inside the table though. I keep telling you people she is a monkey...I am not kidding!
This is my skinny Mommy and her dog Reggie! My mom has lost lots of weight and we are all so proud of her!! Love you Mom!

Like I said, I really didn't take any pictures! We also spent lots of time with Brad's family, but no pictures to prove it! I promise I will do better over Thanksgiving! Love you all and can't wait to see you again in a week!

Friday Sick-a-thon

Daddy was "nice" enough to snap some pictures of Evelynn and myself at our sickest on Friday night.
It seems we came down with a pretty nasty little bug, but both felt SO much better the next morning!
So, we spent most of the afternoon and evening doing this very thing...I guess it helped!

Fantastic Fall

You may remember, this is the tree we planted for Evelynn last year.
Sammy wanted a picture by the tree as well!
We have had some beautiful fall weather this year! Daddy has taken full advantage of this as he has been doing a lot of maintenence to the truck.
I like how Evelynn is looking up at the tree in this picture.
Another wonderful afternoon! We are going to miss being able to play outside A LOT this coming winter. I guess we will just have to bust out the mittens and hats and make the best of it!

Reactions

Just wanted to give everyone a heads-up about the "Reactions" section at the bottom of every blog post! For those of you, ahem, not up-to-date with the techie lingo, I thought I would give a quick crash course. I should mention that I would love for you to take the time after reading a post to give me a little feedback, just helps me feel like the effort of maintaining the blog is worthwhile. I know that sometimes there isn't enough time to write a comment in your busy day, but seriously, we are talking about clicking on a box! Anyway, here is the run down...
awww - obviously, you think it's cute
LOL - acronym for laughing out loud (I honestly don't want to know who doesn't already know that)
eh - it was a pretty boring post, long-winded, basically, you could have done without it
hmm - you thought it was interesting, enlightening, or somehow I got you to start thinking

Trunk or Treat

Our church has an annual event that welcomes the community to trick or treat in our parking lot. We had so much fun doing it last year, that we decided to do it again.
Mommy, Evelynn, Caleb, and Emily (Caleb's Mommy)
Evelynn didn't want to wear her hat...she had a real problem with the ribbon Mommy sewed on to help it stay on. Her head was too little to wear the hat by itself. Isn't she cute though?!
This is Evelynn's friend, Zora. She was a ballerina for Halloween! Darling!
This is after Mommy and Daddy packed up the decorations that were in the trunk. Evelynn recognized her little pumpkin immediately!

Check out the 13 Month Album for other fun Halloween pictures!
