Well, I have introduced Evelynn's Snack-Trap several times now, but I think she finally gets it. She successfully ate her cheerios out of it this morning without a mini-tantrum when her fingers got caught!

New Feats
Evelynn showing off her new walking, walking while eating, falling while eating, getting too close to the camera....skills. Sorry it took me so long to get a video of her walking on here, but it isn't easy to keep up with her these days! This probably isn't the best footage of her capabilities because she is a little distracted with her snack...but hopefully it will please those of you who have been bugging me...you know who you are! Click on her album to see another short video of her walking.

Cutest Patoot!
Here is the cutest patoot in town, wearing her new Abby Cadabby outfit from Grandma!
I can't get enough of that smile!
Evelynn shows us her fruit puff!
Notice her right eye, our left, and you will see the road rash left behind by her latest accident. Evelynn has been walking a lot now, and she was walking at a pool party playdate when she fell on the concrete - yow!
Bunny
Well, it is time for everyone to be introduced to Bunny...
This is Evelynn's lovey, essentially a sleep-inducer! With bunny, comes the thumb, which then produces the end product of sleep.
Bunny isn't allowed out of the crib, hence the lack of pictures, but sometimes I do find Evelynn pulling parts of Bunny out of the crib and her leaning against the rails sucking her thumb. Gives me a pretty good indication that she is tired! Here I told Evelynn to "show me Bunny."
Sammy
Well, I think Sammy is feeling a little left out of all of the picture fun, so i decided to post a couple pictures to let everyone know he is doing just fine. He is our first born ya know!
Isn't that the cutest smile?!
Home Renovations!
Well, this doesn't have anything really to do with Evelynn, but it has caused her to have to play in other places than the living room!
Brad has been stripping the fireplace of the paint that had been put on it previously. We are using a really neat product called Peel-away that doesn't have all of the fumes associated with most strippers.
Hopefully when all is said and done, we will have beautiful Frankoma tile that is original to the house!
You can see that the majority of the paint has already been stripped, but we are having a tough time getting the paint off the bricks that are split (rough). I can't wait until it is all finished! Then we can paint the living room - maybe a light brown/mocha color??

Lounging
This is one of Evelynn's favorite things to do lately.
Lounging on pillows!
She loves to bury her head in the fluff of the pillow, or fall back and make "oooh" sounds.
What a ham!
Being Silly!
Evelynn had discovered the glass doors between our living area and dining room.
She is such an entertainer!
This picture makes me crack up every time I look at it! Is that not hilarious?!
Oh man, I can't help but wonder if she has a little of her Uncle Bryan in her... Lord help us all! At least the supper table will always be entertaining! Love you Bry!
Zoo Trip!
We went to the zoo with some of the other couples in our Sunday school. The kids had a great time, but I dare say the daddy's had an even better time showing them all of the animals!
Visit from Melissa
Mommy's best friend from high school came for a visit!
Evelynn absolutely loved Melissa! She sensed that she loves children I suppose!
We were sad to see her leave, but it was so wonderful to spend a few days with her.
Found an Apple!
Evelynn found a yummy apple inside a purse while everyone was out of the room for a minute!
Unable to resist the tasty treat, she bit right in!!! Can you believe this? She only has four teeth, and three of them are on the bottom!
Her daddy eats an apple almost every day at lunch, so she knew EXACTLY what to do!
I don't think her doctor would recommend apple peel in her diet, but we had to snap a few pictures before we took it away!
New Outfit!
Thanks for the cute outfit Grandma and Grandpa Woods!
Evelynn has been working on how her toys should "fit together" lately, even if they really don't belong together at all!
What a sweet face! Notice the drool? Yeah, gotta love teething!
Still practicing the walking, a few steps at a time. No pro yet though!
