Having Fun

Our little 9 1/2 month old. And no, that isn't drool, just a little leftover water from her sippy!

She is growing up so quickly!

"Hi Sammy!"

This is Caleb! Evelynn loves when Caleb comes over a couple of times a week. He is really starting to be fun now that he smiles so big!!

Evelynn has been enjoying Sammy's toy lately! It is her version of a mega-phone!

Here is Evelynn's friend Zora, and of course her Mommy! She was born May 18th, so still a very little baby!

It was fun holding little Zora because she is the exact same size Evelynn was at that age...how time flies!

Daddy ran over Evelynn little pool, but have no fear, Mommy found something even better!

This is Evelynn's Fun Fish Play Center, and she LOVES IT!

Especially when it squirts her!

Father's Day Weekend!

Mommy surprised Daddy with a big Father's Day gift! Not only did he get a new Weber grill, but his family came down for the weekend to help him celebrate his first Father's Day!

Helping Daddy

When Daddy is home, Evelynn is right there beside him.
She has become quite his little helper (even though I think Brad sometimes wishes she would not "help").
"I am holding the wires for Daddy!"
Of course Evelynn has to ham it up for the camera too!

Favorite Book

This is Evelynn's favorite book!
She honestly reads it several times a day!

Play Time!

Evelynn loves playing with her new ball that Grandma Woods gave her!
Generally, Evelynn just loves playing!
Evelynn has started saying "Mama" and "Dada" indiscriminately lately, along with her usual "Lala" and rasberry sounds!
Those rings and the ball seem to be favorites lately!

Swimming in her New Pool

"Check it out, Mom! It's like a bath, only better!"
Evelynn loves her new swimming pool!
Especially trying to stand up in it, because we don't let her do this during bath time!
It's still a little big for her now, but we figure she will grow into it before we know it.
However, she doesn't like getting out of the swimming pool very much...

Visiting the Bacons!

We went to go visit our great friends, the Bacons, in Pennsylvania for Memorial weekend and had a blast! Here is a picture we took on the day we went to New York City!

We went to the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) in NYC and Evelynn got a little grumpy, so Mommy tried to get her to take a nap while we walked around...no success!

Also take a look at the lady in the background, that is Jackie's big tummy! She is expecting in July! We can't wait to meet Baby Bacon!

Evelynn was a little over-stimulated by all of the people, lights, and sounds in the city.
But she was quite a trooper!
The Bacons Yorkie, Dink, didn't know quite what to think of Evelynn. However, near the end of the trip they made friends finally, Evelynn gave him crackers as a peace-offering!

These are our friends, Mark and Jackie! They were so sweet to put up with us for several days! We had so much fun!

We also went to an anthracite coal mine while we were in Pennsylvania! It was very dark down there, so we didn't get many good pictures. Evelynn did very well in the cold, damp, dark mine!

This is a picture of a tunnel in the Detroit airport! The sides change colors to music playing in the background. We loved it and I think Evelynn thought we needed one at home!
