Thanksgiving Week

Evelynn loves to hang out with her Daddy when he gets home from work.

As you can see, they are quite the pair!

Evelynn's first Thanksgiving was fabulous! We went home to KC to celebrate with family and took TONS of pictures! Unfortunately, not always with our own camera. As a matter of fact, we completely forgot our camera when we got together with Kira's side of the family. We hope to get some pictures from them soon, and we will post them as soon as we can.

Grandpa Buser holding in the binky. Evelynn still hasn't mastered the ability to hold it in by herself, yet she wants to suck it! Yes, annoying, but at least she only wants it when she is tired.
Aunt Carrie holding Evelynn up to the camera. I don't think she realized that we wanted her to look at the camera!
The whole Buser clan!

Great Grandma couldn't wait to get her hands on Evelynn.

A Baby's Life: Playing and Sleeping!

Evelynn has been working on her "baby pushups" lately. Getting quite strong.
Playing on her little playmat from Great Aunt Lisa and Cousin Katie is one of her favorite things to do right now.
Evelynn likes to take her bath, and is always quite spunky afterward. It has been getting colder here lately, so we have been trying to hurry her into her pjs to prevent goosebumps!
I love those lips! I think she is starting to look more like her daddy all of the time - especially when I see that pucker!
Too darned cute!

Two Months Old!

"Don't worry Mom, I'll keep an eye on her, well I mean paw."
As you can see, Sammy gets along quite well with little Evelynn.
This is thier afternoon nap!
Yeah, she is still too small for her Bumbo...but Mommy and Daddy were so anxious to try it out.
Thankfully, Evelynn is a pretty good sport about things.
Daddy and his two babies. I am just thankful they all get along!
Evelynn has been practicing her "talking" a lot lately.
Here she is in an all out laugh of sorts - no sound, just lots of emotion!
Close-up!
We decided to plant a tree to commemorate the birth of Evelynn. It sits right outside her window, and will provide some much needed shade to the back of our house. It is an Autumn Blaze Maple, so it will be beautiful in color for her birthday each year.
Here she is checking it out for the first time.
Evelynn is trying out her Baby Bjorn carrier for the first time. I think she enjoyed being able to see the world, and then later I turned her to face me for a nice nap, while dirty work was being done to plant her tree.
The whole family...wow are we blessed!
Grandma and Grandpa Buser came into town this weekend for a visit.
Happy Birthday Grandma!!!!
This is Grandma getting her groove on.
